Andrea Wan is a Hong Kong-born, Vancouver-raised visual artist whose creative path has been shaped by a life lived between cultures. Having studied Integrated Media and Design at Emily Carr University and Designskolen Kolding in Denmark, she later moved to Berlin, where she spent eight years immersed in her studio practice while traveling widely for projects and exhibitions across continents.
A wanderer of both inner and outer worlds, Andrea’s work explores identity beyond the bounds of culture, into the terrain of the psyche, dreams, and the unseen. Through ink drawings,, sculptures, and large-scale public artworks, she channels intuitive imagery that speaks to the interconnectedness of nature and human consciousness.
Often created in a stream-of-consciousness manner, her visual language draws from mystical and psychological landscapes, reflecting the continuous evolution of self. Now based in Vancouver, Andrea remains committed to art as a vessel for healing, connection, and listening inward.
